What my heart absolutely longs to understand and live out of daily: EVERY moment is a gift. There is no time to squander a single second of life on petty arguments or bruised pride. I can choose to love and live in joy even when circumstances are hard and relationships feel bumpy. My choice does not erase that which needs sorted and grown; rather I am capable to live to the fullest amongst the mess. I choose my own attitude -no one makes me feel anything but me. And, oh, how I long to always choose grace and goodness.

Yesterday my friends took me to the tulip gardens “for my birthday.” Little did I know that they picked up Anthony from the airport and also took him there. Safe to say I was completely shocked when I got a tap on the shoulder and turned to see his face! So shocked that I didn’t really understand what was happening haha. I still said yes though! And I’m happy to announce to you that we are now engaged :) (at Keukenhof, Holland)
